Detail and realism is what I aim for in creating fine art work through art mediums such as acrylics, oil paints, watercolors and pencils. This includes a wide variety of subject matter to include western, aviation, nature, portraits and other requested orders. Some of the fine art displayed below was done by taking a color photo and changing it into a black and white illustration; where as others, such as the painting of the Harley Davidson motorcycle, was taken from a black and while photograph and recreated into the original colors of this motorcycle.
"Top Gun," taken from the movie with Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis. This painting was done using the airbrush and fine brush with acrylic paints. Using the emblem from the Navy's Fighter Weapons School at Miramar in San Diego. The painting was done to use as a show piece for individuals and businesses in order to give a display of my work. The original is for sale but unable to make prints without the approval of the actors and Paramount Pictures.
We have chosen the most attractive paper and an appropriate size for each of our prints. However, we do have the flexibility to tailor both the paper type and size if you have personal preferences. Generally, the paper type does not have a significant effect on pricing, while size basically scales with the area of the print, e.g., a print of twice the width and twice the height would cost four times the base price. Adding backing material like foam generally doubles the base price. Final sales prices add 6.5% sales tax plus $15 for shipping. Just use the "contact us" form to tell us your preferences for a print of any painting on our website (you are not limited to just the sample items shown in our "store").
