This painting shows you the several steps from one phase to the next. This painting was done for the Epilepsy Research in California in acrylics. The painting was done with hand brush and airbrush combined so it show detail and smooth texture. It was to express the idea of two people who are trapped with the inability to go ahead in life. It is done to show the effect of living with epilepsy and making a person unable to do the normal every-day routines in life. Wishing they could enjoy the normal things in life, even the want to be loved outside of their disability. The first part is to give the effect of a normal life with love, to be needed and wanted and accepted like the average people. The chain and lock are to give the idea that though there is a difference in the kind of lives they live, there is always hope that the chain can be unlocked and be accepted from all other people...leaving their 'hope' in life. I have donated paintings every year to raise money for the research of epilepsy since I too have lived with it since childhood.

Art has been the one thing that I have enjoyed either for businesses, individuals, or just for the joy of expressing my heart and talent on canvas. One of my greatest opportunities has been working with children both in schools and individually. It is sharing a part of myself that every artist expresses into his art itself.
